The Rapture/Harpazo of the church looks like it may be fulfilled this year during the September 2025 Feast of Trumpets
“No one knows the day nor the hour...”
This is the name given to the Jewish feast
known as Rosh Hosanah...
The bible says that Christians will be removed from the earth prior to God’s Judgement of the Earth.
The bible says God’s judgement will start when a 7 year covenant of peace is signed regarding the land of Israel.
The Bible says that after this 7 year judgement Jesus will return to the Earth in the second coming of Christ.
Do we know when this will happen?
When asked by his disciples Jesus said, no one knows the day nor the hour. To us in today’s Western culture this means very little, but in the Jewish culture (those Jesus was talking to), “No one knows the day nor the hour.” is the name given to a Jewish feast known as The Feast of Trumpets, or Rosh Hashanah or Yom Teruah - “Day of Blowing Trumpets.”
They would have known at that time what He was talking about. The Feast of Trumpets starts at sunset on day one, and ends at sunset on day three.
“No one knows the day nor the hour.” within this window because the feast starts when the new moon has been sighted by two witnesses. If it’s cloudy they have to wait. Hence, no one knows the day nor the hour.
Is there a confirmation of this in the bible?
Yes, in the bible, in the book of 1 Corinthians chapter 15, verses 51 to 52 it reads: [51] “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, [52] in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
Where does it say Christians are going?
In the book of 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (chapter 4 verses 16 to 17) it reads: [16] “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. [17] Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.” This event is commonly known as the Rapture in Christian circles and is called “Harpazo” in the original Greek text which means a “snatching away”.
What are some of the signs we are seeing in these End Times?

But some Christians believe the last trumpet spoken about in 1 Corinthians 15:52 is the last of the seven trumpet judgments spoken about in the book of Revelation, meaning a mid tribulation rapture. How do you know it doesn’t mean that?
In the book of Matthew 24:36-39, it reads, [36] “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. [37] As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. [38] For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; [39] and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
This means life will be going on as normal at the time of the rapture. At the seventh trumpet judgement in the book of Revelation, life will be far from normal and they won’t be “eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage” as if it was.
Also in I Thessalonians 5:9 NKJV it reads,
[9] “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,” God’s wrath is not poured out on His bride. The tribulation is God’s wrath on the unrepentant people of the earth and many times in the book of Revelation it talks about the lack of repentance of the people in the tribulation (not His bride).
Also it says in the book of Luke 17:26-30 NIV [26]“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. [27] People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. [28] It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. [29] But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. [30] It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.”
Noah entered the ark (removed from the coming flood - safe from the judgement) then judgement came.
Again, only when Lot was out of Sodom did the judgement of God come upon it. In fact, in Genesis 19:22 it reads, [22] “But flee there quickly, because I cannot do anything until you reach it”...
Judgement could not come until Lot had left the place of the coming judgement and had reached a place of safety.
First God removes His people to a place of safety, then the judgement comes.
II Thessalonians 2:7-8 NKJV
[7] “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. [8] And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.”
The Lord is holding back the lawless one
(Antichrist) until we are gone.
Okay, so its The Feast of Trumpets, but which Feast of Trumpets, there’s one every year?
In the book of 2 Peter 3:8 it says,
[8] “But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day.”
In the bible there are biblical patterns and here is one of them. The bible says that God made everything in 6 days and on the 7th day He rested.
It also says that we are to work for 6 days and to rest on the 7th.
Remember, “A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day.”
Biblical history is 6000 years old and the bible talks of a 1000 year reign of Christ on the Earth. This 1000 year reign starts at what is known as “The Second Coming”.
So now we have to work out when is He coming back. Jesus was crucified on a cross (the Roman method of a tortuous death) and rose from the dead in 32 A.D. Prior to this there were 4000 years.
In 2032 it will be 2000 years since Jesus' death and resurrection. These are called the last days in the book of Acts 2:16-17 [16] “No, what you see was predicted long ago by the prophet Joel [17] “In the last days, God says, “I will pour out my Spirit upon all people.”
So, in 2032 the last days (2000 years) will be finished and we can expect the second coming of Christ in the year 2032.
But, before the second coming of Christ there are seven years of tribulation. This means that the tribulation must start in 2025.
When is the feast of trumpets in 2025?
The Feast of Trumpets 2025 starts in Israel at sunset September 22nd and finishes at sunset September 24th.
What starts the 7 year tribulation?
The bible says the tribulation will start when there is a seven year covenant signed between many nations regarding Israel. This is spoken of in the book of Daniel 9:27. It is understood that this is a peace covenant and that one of the signatories is the Anti-christ spoken of in the bible. It is this covenant that starts the judgement of the Earth by God. This time can be read about in the book of Revelation.
Also, In the bible in the book of 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3 it says [2] “For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. [3] “For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.” (This refers to the tribulation after a peace treaty is signed).
This peace Covenant is represented by the rider on a white horse who is the first of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse spoken of in the book of Revelation.
There is currently a scheduled event by the UN General Assembly to put together a peace covenant regarding Israel. This is scheduled during The Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) 2025.
This white Horse Peace treaty will be followed by the Red Horse of War (probably the Ezekiel 38 war) once Israel has let her guard down.
How do you suddenly know about this when no one has picked this time before now?
God wants us to know. 1 Thessalonians 5:4 [4] “But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.”
Is there anything else that suggests that the Rapture (Harpazo) will happen at The Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) in 2025?
Yes, throughout history God has done things on feast days. He has fulfilled the first four feasts and there are three more to go.
The first four feasts are:
Passover - Jesus crucified as our passover lamb (gave Himself as a sacrificial offering for our sin).
Unleavened bread - Jesus placed in the burial tomb.
First fruits - Jesus’ resurrection.
Pentecost - God’s outpouring of the Holy Spirit. (beginning of the “Last days”)
The next feasts to be fulfilled are:
The Feast of Trumpets (beginning of the new year) - Rapture of the Christians (new beginning)
The Day of Atonement - The Day of Atonement points to the final judgment that is to come, at the return of the Messiah (Jesus Christ - the Second Coming).
The Feast of Tabernacles (represents God with us) - 1000 year reign of Christ with us and onwards.
So if the Christians are raptured during the feast of Trumpets in 2025 and the second coming is seven years later at the Day of Atonement 2032, how many days are there between those two events?
2550 days
Does the day count between those two feasts measured 7 years apart normally equal 2550 days?
No, it is rare. It has happened 6 times since Israel became a nation on 14th May 1948 and starting in 2025 it will be the 7th time. If the rapture of the church is in 2025 at the Feast of Trumpets it would fulfill God's pattern of 6 days of labour and on the 7th a day of rest.
So why couldn't it happen later then, why this time?
Because Jesus said in Matthew “...this generation will not pass away until all these things take place”. The generation He was speaking of was the one that saw the rebirth of Israel that had been prophesied by Ezekiel the prophet 2520 years earlier. And also by the prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 66:8.
So how long is a generation?
At the time it was spoken a generation or lifespan was considered 70 years, or maybe 80 if you are strong (Psalm 90:10).
So, only if the Rapture of the church is in 2025 can the 2550 days be fulfilled by the generation that was born at or after 1948.
Are there any more dates or patterns that would be fulfilled?
Yes, in the bible there was a man named Jacob whose name was changed to Israel. Jacob is seen as a “type” of Christ. Jacob wanted to marry Rachel and he worked for 7 years so that he could have her as his bride, but he got her sister Leah instead (Leah is a picture of the Christian church), 7 days later he married Rachel as well, but had to work another seven years for her (Rachel is a picture of the Jewish people). Jacob was 84 years old when he married Rachel. And Israel will be 84 years old in 2032 when Christ will be joined to His Jewish people in the Second Coming (if the rapture of the Church and the Tribulation start 7 years earlier in 2025).
Are there any other reasons to suspect the Rapture and the start of the tribulation may be at the feast of Trumpets 22nd-24th September 2025?
Yes, there is an asteroid headed for Earth that will arrive on the 13th of April 2029. Officially NASA says it won't hit us, but there are concerns amongst NASA scientists that their calculations may be wrong. Officially according to NASA this 400 metre by 100 metre asteroid travelling at 32 km per second will miss the Earth by about 18,000 miles (that's below some of our satellites). Interestingly, if the Tribulation starts in late September 2025 the asteroid named Apophis ("the destroyer" or "the evil one", disorder and destruction) arrives at the correct time according to the book of Revelation where it says an asteroid will hit the Earth during the 7 year Tribulation. It is also the correct size and speed to do the amount of damage spoken of in the book of Revelation.
But doesn't the Bible say that there will be a Jewish Temple built and it's not built now so how can the Tribulation start soon?
Right now the Jews in Israel have prepared everything they need to begin building the temple and they have even performed a practice burnt offering of a red heifer to get the ashes ready in preparation for the real sacrifice.
The Jews do have time to build the temple and still fulfill scripture if the tribulation starts in 2025.
I thought the “Rapture” couldn’t
happen until everyone on Earth had heard the gospel according to Matthew 24:14?
Matthew 24:14 reads, [14] And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.
However, Matthew 10:23 reads, [23] When you are persecuted in one town, flee to the next. I tell you the truth, the Son of Man will return before you have reached all the towns of Israel.
These are clearly two separate events. Matthew 10:23 is a picture of the rapture of the church and Matthew 24:14 is at the end (”and then the end will come.”).
Yes, it is true that there are many Jews in Israel who have not heard the Good News even today. This is because they have no interest in looking into what they consider a gentile religion.
In the book of Revelation 14:6 we read, [6] And I saw another angel flying through the sky, carrying the eternal Good News to proclaim to the people who belong to this world– to every nation, tribe, language, and people.
There is no point in an angel doing this if it’s already been done prior to the rapture.
In fact Revelation 14:6 is a fulfilment of Matthew 24:14. This will more than likely be fulfilled by the 144,000 sealed of God, the two witnesses and those left behind who knew about God, but didn’t apply His saving grace to their lives.
Is there anything else?
Yes, in the book of Revelation 16:12 NIV it reads [12] The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East.
The river Euphrates is drying up now and as we see in scripture will be completely dried up by the sixth angel in Revelation 16:12
Also in the book of Acts 2:17 NIV it reads [17]“In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
There has been an explosion of people having dreams and visions that the Rapture will happen during The Feast of Trumpets 2025. (Not that we should put our faith in dreams, but it is interesting to note).
Anything else?
Yes, in the book of Revelation it says the Anti-christ will cause all to receive a mark in their right hand or in their forehead and without it no one can buy or sell.
Right now global leaders like Bill Gates are talking about smart tattoos that will enable us to access things like the internet, email and buying and selling instead of using our smart phones.
There are also a number of nations right now talking about a digital identity to enable the same things including a digital currency and banking.
Access to all of these things can be turned on or off by someone outside of your control.
Is this type of thing the “Mark of the Beast” spoken of in the book of Revelation?
Maybe, maybe not, although it would integrate perfectly into the book of Revelation 13:16-18 where it reads [16] “He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, [17] and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. [18]
Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.”
The “Mark of the Beast” may not be straight forward as it says to calculate it with understanding.
By the way, if you miss the Rapture (that one’s on you), do not take “the mark” under any circumstances, the bible says if you do, it’s all over for you as far as God is concerned.
The Tribulation spoken of in the bible and described in the book of Revelation, how bad could it be?
If you want to know how bad it will be, find a bible and look up the book of Matthew, chapter 24, verses 21 to 22.
What are the signs of the times prior to the tribulation?
Matthew 24:6-8 [6]”And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. [7] For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. [8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
Sound familiar?
Remember, the words “See that you are not troubled” are for the followers of Christ (Christians who have taken seriously the words in the book of Matthew, chapter 16 verses 24-26. [24] “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. [25] If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. [26] And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?”
This all seems like rubbish, I’ve heard it all before, some Christians have been going on about “The Rapture” and “The Tribulation” for ages and nothing has happened yet!
In bible the apostle Peter writes in II Peter 3:3-4 [3] Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. [4] They will say, “Where is this coming he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”
Many, many people around the world are having Rapture dreams and visions about the Rapture of the church happening in September 2025. Many people are also feeling an urgency about their faith.
Is this a guarantee that the Rapture of the church will happen at Rosh Hashanah 2025?
No, but it sure looks like it. With so many biblical end times events lining up to the very day, it would be unwise to ignore them.
In other words:
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and sounds like a duck, it’s probably a duck.
Luke (Luk) 21:28 CJB (Complete Jewish Bible) [28] “When these things start to happen, stand up and hold your heads high; because you are about to be liberated!”
Revelation 22:20 NIV [20] He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
How can I avoid the coming Tribulation?
Actually it’s not just God's judgement of the Earth during the Tribulation that we need to worry about. There's also God's personal judgement.
What?
Yes. In the bible it says in the book of Romans 3:23 [23] “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”
Hang on, I’m a good person, I'll be fine on judgement day!
God says in Isaiah 64:6 “When we display our righteous deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags”.
You see, we compare ourselves to others, but the problem is we all fall short of God’s righteousness. So comparing ourselves to others or even comparing ourselves to our own standards doesn't work.
Okay, so what can I do about it?
In the book of John 3:16 it reads,
[16] “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
What does this mean “He gave His one and only Son”?
Often in our lives despite our best efforts we do things wrong. Sometimes these things are wrong against other people, sometimes they are wrong things we have done against God. These things separate us from a relationship with God, but God wants us to be reconciled with Him, to have our relationship with Him restored as it should be.
Jesus came to pay the penalty required for the things we have done wrong. He lived a sinless life (did nothing wrong) and by doing this he was able to take our punishment on Himself (death on the cross), because He didn’t have to pay for His own sins He was able to pay for ours.
In the New Testament God explains to us through His Word (the Bible) the story of the Good News that Jesus has come to take away the sin of the World and reconcile us to God. Having a relationship with God puts us in right standing with Him (our sins are forgiven).
How can we have this relationship with Him?
Tell God that you are sorry for the things you have done wrong.
Tell God that you believe He sent His son Jesus to pay the price for those wrong things, and tell Him that you want to accept this forgiveness.
Ask God to be the Lord of your life and that you accept Him as Lord.
(This is the Christian faith.)
Remember, this is about you and God, no pomp, no ceremony, just openness and honesty with God. The relationship is between you and Him, not between you and a church or a religion. We go to church to learn more about God from teachers and ministers who have had the time to study the Word of God (Bible) and teach us from it. Church is also a place where we can spend time encouraging each other and helping each other through the issues of life and to learn from one another.
I encourage you to read the bible as it is what God has to say to us, prayer is what we have to say to God.
